Law Enforcement Texting?

I know everyone has an opinion, and this is just mine. This is also my first Blog, so lighten up and just go with me on this one. I want to talk about something that is very disturbing, and can be deadly to all of us, Cell phones and Driving. I know I am not the first to chime in on this, and I have been guilty of it myself. I am not talking about the "Normal" talking while driving, one hand on the wheel and the other holding you're phone. I am talking about our Law Enforcement Officials! I cannot believe the people who are supposed to be protecting us on the roads seem to be doing the most harmful thing they accuse "US" of doing. I have seen repeated times where the Uniformed driving sector are doing exactly what they are telling our Legislators to stop us from doing. I am all for the Hands free phone calls (I recently bought a Blue Tooth just for driving.) I also will lead the Parade to stop my 20 something Daughter from texting while driving, but when a Texas Highway Patrol unit speeds across a dirt median on Interstate 40, settles into the fast lane at 60 miles an hour and I finally have to pass on the right, only to see he is driving with his knee on the steering wheel, his left hand holding his cell phone to his ear and his right hand tapping away on his computer..... I'm a little concerned!
